Day by day You speak words of encouragement and hope to me. You, Lord, announce good news that brings me comfort and joy. In Your plan You have called me to use my words in kind. As you allowed us the choice of words able both to hurt and heal, I pray for Your wisdom-guidance to speak only: Words that bring life, words that instill courage and offer hope, Words that bind up wounds, and words that bring peace.
